Raw Mango Banana Pie with a nut-date crustTalented Vegan Chef, Tori Farbisz,
is an inspirational 16 year old teenager!Tori became vegetarian when she was only 11 years old, after getting in a fight with her aunt about animal rights. She became vegan when she was 14, when she realized that vegetarianism was not consistent with her ethics. She enjoys cooking and baking good, healthy vegan food, and showing people that, "We don't just eat lettuce and tofu."
Tori lives in River Falls, WI, and comes in town, with her wonderful mother, Casi, to our EarthSave events!Everyone is welcome!
You don't need to be vegan or vegetarian to attend.Potluck:
Please bring a vegan food dish [side/main and preferably organic],
or dessert to share with 6-8 others.
(Vegan = no meat, dairy, eggs, gelatin, honey or refined sugar)Remember to bring your own plate,
cup and utensils.
